Nepali’s Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli, is facing opposition from his opponents for allegedly, unlawfully dissolving parliament under the constitution.
His move has sent over 10, 000 protesters on the streets against the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. The protestors are demanding that Oli reverses his decision even as the country’s top court,is expected to hear thousands of petitions filed against his political move.
Oli plans to go ahead with Parliamentary elections next year 30th April and 10th May, less than two years before the scheduled date.
Oli faces lack of cooperation from his party. He made the new move on 20th December, 2020.
