Kenya and South Sudan Free visa movement Initiated

Kenyan Embassy to South Sudan spokesperson Ali Mambo are awaiting directive from two interior ministries between the two countries to instruct both departments of immigration to avail final documents required.

This comes after a virtual meeting of all heads of states of the East Africa Community bloc on 27th February, 2021.

Confirming the proposal, South Sudan Foreign Affairs Ministry admitted to have a free Visa movement within the two nations and across East Africa bloc as soon as possible.

The idea of free Visa movement is a gesture of strengthening bilateral relationship and trade among East African member State.
