House of Letha In Eldama Ravine

Laura Korir, has stormed Eldama Ravine Sub County in Baringo county with her decoration business, House of Letha, one of a kind that sells all types of home decorations that win your heart upon setting your eyes on them in Eldama Ravine market stall 380.

She is a mother turned business woman. Laura has rented a small place since her inception January this year, she says before that she has been working from home ever since after her three months training that was prompted by her visit to the Agricultural Show in 2019. Laura says she has never looked back.

Her irresistible decorations, has her on her toes as clients stream in to buy and others admire and do bookings.

she says, her decorations are made from simple products such as; use of feathers, dried reeds, materials, pots, and some home-made flowers all colored to bring out the beauty in each decoration, she even has life flowers just in case a client wants to buy one for his or her vase.

Before she opened this new place, she has been walking door to door advertising her merchandise and now all the clients she gets are as a result of a good word out there by her satisfied customers.

Laura`s presentation and customer care will win you off the moment you are taken by surprise at the market when passing by.

The pots she says she gets them from her trips around Kenya especially the Eastern region of Kenya and Nyanza.

“I cannot point out which product is ordered most because all are competed for” says Laura.

The prices of the decorations vary from the different available products. She says she has already employed someone to help her and plans to grow and even employ more.

Her journey is interesting she says, though she does not want to divulge for now. All she wants to do is encourage anyone struggling out there to be creative, network and work hard.

She says her artwork is being embraced well as she now has more of her decorations hanging in parastatals and banks.

Hers’ is creativity at its best this month of valentine, or best gifts for birthdays and other occasions.
