Finally, they is hope for Covid-19 vaccine

FiercePharma AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot bemoans

Finally, there might be a vaccine by the end of the year.

Moderna has already started human clinical trials with good results on phase 1. Astrazenaca has also secured $1B from Trumps govt for developing the vaccine, they have tested it on monkeys and the results were promising.

new facility – in the centre of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC) – will be an open, welcoming and vibrant centre that will inspire our team and our partners to push the boundaries of scientific innovation.

Just some good news someone might appreciate, there’s light at the end of the tunnel
Moderna looks more likely to work since it’s alread been tested on people and the results have been promising.

The issue now is , how long it would take for the vaccine maybe to trickle down to the third world countries? But we have some promising signs that should keep our hopes at per.

AstraZeneca CEO confirmed that they have a plan to produce massive amounts of the vaccine and are in talks with donor funds to provide support for the poor countries. I think they will try very hard to bring the vaccine to Africa a few weeks after US and UK.

Just my thought.
